Disney Uncle Scrooge 60th Anniversary

Mutado created the main european website for the Uncle Scrooge 60th anniversary celebration of Topolino Magazine. Following stories in the magazine, the website takes you on a tour around Europe with Uncle Scrooge (and his family). The website has been localized for 5 different european languages and countries including Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

There are various fun sections to the site including: The story and information about Uncle Scrooge, numerous downloads and realtime instant wins where visitors to the site earn daily prizes from Disney. The website also includes a mutliplayer game based on Uncle Scrooge’s trip around Europe. Users play the game to collect hints and to discover the next step in Uncle Scrooge’s trip – while following the magazine.

Mutado worked on the website strategy, creative concept, graphic design and development.

The website is a full flash application developed in AS2 with a backend structure based on PHP, MySql and Flash Media Server.
